Hey guys,

I am inquiring on a new Amazon tree boa. I need some help. Where can i get a nice cb red, and what kind of cage do you all recommend?

Check the classifieds on this site as there have been some very nice litters born in the last few months. Reds always seem to be one of the rarest color forms though. As far as caging goes, anything that holds heat and humidity well is a good choice. I would stay away from anything with a screen top. Some popular enclosure choices are boaphiles, B.A.R.R.'s, visions, rubbermaid/sterilite tubs of appropriate size and custom wood and glass/plexi enclosures. Here's a pic of a setup for a neonate ammie using a 19 qt rubbermaid "latchable".

I was thinking about making it a rain chamber. Has anybody had luck with those?

It was $300.00. Real reds are very hard to find so they are up in price. I have some that I wouldn't take anything for they are so valuable to me
