Not sound real critical, but don't you think it would have been a good idea to have done your homework before you jumped into breeding. i think you owe to the reptiles to know and learn about them first. However, you have about 3 to 4 weeks before she lays her eggs. You will need to have an incubator set up and acclimated to 84 degrees before she lays her eggs, If you wait until she lays you might lose all your eggs.

i'm asking because i couldnt find the answer anywhere else my inc is already in use with my leo eggs and the temp is set. i have books but they dont say anything about how long it takes a female to lay her eggs thats why i asked not because i didn't do my homework. so before you mouthoff get the hole story. i thought that the forums were to get answers to ? that you dont know or can't find to help each other out

This is a section I put together for information on breeding beardies.. doesn't give everything, but it's a good source to check out.

Maybe it will help answer some questions you have... I have a hard time finding the exact answers I need in books as well and I have looked in a lot that were below average.

I like the Bearded Dragon Manual by Philipe de Vosjoli (spelling?) The new addition has some great info and pics in it, but even this book doesn't have some information in there that it should.

G'luck

thanks for your help

Another suggestion would be to do a search on the bearded dragon's forum as questions like this have been asked many times before. You will also learn about what egg laying medium to use, how long to incubate and at what temperatures etc.
