How much and often to feed?

Ses01 Dec 12, 2004 01:49 AM

Hi everyone. I am new to this, and will be getting a ball python very soon. How much should they eat and how often? I plan on trying her out with pre-killed frozen foods. I was told she is eating fuzzies right now. How many and how often should she get that? Any help is appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Do a search for caresheets on the Internet and check out the Ball Python Manual. General rule is every 7 days with prey the size of the widest part of the body up to 1.5 times the widest part.

I'll be happy to send you a word document full of information I've copied from this and various forums (filled with information most caresheets don't tell you). Just send me your email address if interested.
