That's all the further she could make it...it was a bit interesting getting her to back out!

Missed her head on this one - but good view of her plump belly.

Thanks for sharing, Matt! Beautiful animal you got there. Love the flag in the background too - this coming from a retired (21yrs) Army vet!!! HOOOAAAH!!!

She's six now and I hope she'll be sticking with me for another ten years.

This month marks four years I've been in the Air Force. I salute you...and I hope all the celebrities run for Canada - they can do all the [bleep]in' they want up there while they sip on their martinis.

Matt,

You're lucky you're getting pix. When i was in high school--40 years ago, unfortunately I had a lot of different snakes but the three prize animals were a corn from Trails End Zoo in South Carolina (in case this rings any bells with other old readers); a black and white chain king from a pet store in norfolk, va; and a bull or gopher snake the details of which elude me.

But the memories linger on. Even though i've had lots of adventures now with extremely rare morphs, first breedings, etc., i have those memories--undoubtedly exaggerated by time--of those animals. So almost unnoticed by visitors to my collection I have an Oketee Red Rat (from Lee Abbott) and a pair of chain kings, one a normal-looking het/albino and the other an albino.

I still remember some of my first cars with great enthusiasm, too! Anyway, enjoy. I just wanted to remind everyone on the forum that there's something special about our first animals and you may be remembering them much longer than you expect.

Thanks Terry -

I will definently remember these before any snakes I have in the future. And even more memories rest in my first car - which I still have after 5 years - not bad INHO.... and by the way it looked nothing like this when I got it.
