Hi Russ, i've saw your many pretty pictures of you tegus. Here's my question for you, in the newest picture you are standing up holding the tegu? I don't have much knowledge on tegus so i was wondering how come your tegu has more of a gold shade to it rather then black, is it a arg. black&white or the golden tegu? It look like a arg. bw but he has the color of gold. Also alsome on taking good care of healthy tegus. One last question how long is your longest tegu?

It's not a golden, the golden tegu is another common name for the t.teguixin, which has one loreal scale on each side of it's face, between the eyes. Russ's tegu has two loreals on each side.
Keep in mind that tegus colors can vary a bit but it could also be a visual illusion caused by the image.
