Good news!!! (for those that care...)

The baby box turtle that fel into my care about a week ago has finally eaten!!! After many different items were place in front of it (worms, mazuri, fruits and veggies, greens, and zoo-med box turtle food) it finally showed intrest in a small cricket (hind jumping legs disabled of course). I was and am very happy that after a week the little guy has finally eaten... Maybe theres hope for the baby after all...

...what's da next step?

Keep it eating, warm and hydrated. Then in the spring I'll have to decide if I actually want a box turtle (release him into his homeland or keep him in mine...). But for now its all about survival...
