Household Lighting & Breeding Responses

CJBianco Dec 12, 2004 06:39 PM

Yes. It's me again. I've yet another odd question. (Only way to learn, right?)

Can household lighting trigger breeding responses? Or cause stress?

It just dawned on me... I keep my snake rack in my office. I'm a writer, so I've no set work schedule. I mean...I have deadlines, but I write mostly from inspiration. That means I may be working (with lights on) all night or all day. Sometimes sporadially several times throughout the day/night. I never seem to keep the lights on for a set twelve (12) hours, then off for another twelve. On. Off. On. Off. On. Off. Is this confusing my Ball Pythons? Do they even care? Do you even care?

Thanks,
Chris

I too was wondering this same thing... Good question! I plan on getting a BP in the next month and was wondering if this would have an effect on them...?
