Is there anybody breeding these two subspecies in the USA?

...Nobody in the US breeding these two subspecies. As far as I know there is nobody who even has a pair of either of these subspecies in the US. Same situation with xerophilis. AFAIK there have been no private captive breedings of crassus or asissi in the US. Both of these subspecies have been imported in very small numbers the last few years and they came from David Fabius in Uraguay. Epicrates cenchria barbouri have been captive bred a few times in the US. Many people think that they are breeing gaigei in the US. IMO most of these people have snakes which are Epicrates cenchria cenchria that they think are gaigei and there have only been a couple of true gaigei breedings in the US each of the last few years.
