Its been a long time since i've been posting around here, its a shame too cause its Forums that started me in the first place over 6 years ago. Wow so long ago... You know whats remakable, one of these toads is from like 5 years ago.
Anyways I decided its almost x-mas maybe i should give my toads a change. Before I had a almost 100% water set up with some gravel areas that were shallower or abover water and some branches and plants. However mainting them in water is a lot more difficult cause you cant really just change the water. In fact it wont stay clean at all even with filters running plus algee begins to build up. So now I went with a mostly land set up.
The tank:
29 gallon tank (was originally for my once owned Green TF's)
Gravel Base
Eco-earth substrate (its a first using it)
some store bought dried moss on the left and some Java moss that has established itself on the log a long time ago and I'm hoping will cover the right side of the ground.
Will Java Moss grow on moist Eco Earth substrate?
