i dont know what the best subsrait for frilleds are, but im pretty sure they are somewhat dessert animals. if im correct, then theres probably a argument of what the best subsrtait is. this is for any one that uses this type of bedding. im posting this in every forum that i think the herp is atleast partly dessert. i work at a major petstore chain, and we got an email today. it sais that ESU crushed walnut shell lizard litter bedding should absolutly under no surcomstance be used unless there is a screen ontop of it. its almost a 100% death wish for any reptile that eats it because is not digestable at all. so i thought id let you all know just incase your using it.
thanks for taking the time to read.

Putting a screen over your substrate would defeat the purpose a bit. Haha I like coco shred stuff, cus they arent desert and like humidity. And its perfect for that.

Well, I don't think they are desert animals. They need quite a bit of humidity and live in New Guinea.....which is tropical like. Australia is tropical and desert though. But i know they need lots of spraying.
