Yesterday was a record high so...

I took Ezra and Annabella out to play.

Annabella looked around from the rock I set her on, but wouldn't move. No desire to be free.

Ezra crawled around on the porch and then some wood. Looking at me watching him while exploring. When he went onto the lawn he tucked his front legs close to his body and did slow motion bipedal runs. I didn't know he could do that (fatso), but the grass was so bushy it would have been hard to see anything crawling around.

Cory the spaz stayed inside.

Annabella's(w/c) tail got skinny and I got her to drink some more water. She's just on the beginning fasting part of brumation, what should I do?

I love it when they run on their hind legs. Too cute! Oh--that is one fine looking lizard in the picture. Great spots on that fellow.

if she is already losing weight on her brumation i would not go through with it, but i have never brumated my lizards so i am sure eve or something could tell you better.
that is a nice looking lizard. you trust your lizards enough to run around freely outside? i think walter would behave but i am sure ivan and kaiser would be gone in a heartbeat!

Ezra can be squirmy, but he has never shown any signs of aggression. I was gone for a month and he wasn't given quality attention, I came back it was like he remembered me. He was calm and let me hold him.

Annabella tamed into quite the sweetheart. I don't know for sure about brumation, her tail isn't to skinny. I think I see some bones but my husband doesn't. I'm trying to get her to drink more water.

If they did wander off, catching them would be soooo easy. One lizard out at a time for good supervision.

I also put some collareds out in the sun. Mostly young ones since most of my adults are brumating. I hope to take and post pictures soon.
