I just purchased a new 40 gallon breeder for my two Map turtles. I bought the tank, brought it home, wiped it down with a damp paper towel, dried it, and added water. I used water from my hose and it appeared rather cloudy. I added some of the ReptiSafe stuff to kill the chlorine and what not, then installed my Whisper 40i filter. Letting it filter for a few hours seemed to help but it was still cloudy, so I added Crystal Clear and that seemed to help alittle, but it is still cloudy. What could be wrong?
