I agree there is no GOOD reason to pair 1.1's in the same tank for extended periods of time, but there are so many people out there that want one big tank and they want their male to have a girlfriend or visa versa. They have a pair at the local pet store in a 40 breeder that SEEM to get along fine, but have chopped off tails, and missing toes and nails. (Actually I've seen up to 4 400g dragons in there at one time. 2.2) Some pet owners look at it as personal preference or are just intent on doing it because they care more about convenience rather than the overall health of their dragons. I personally would not do it that is why I'm trying to sell a couple of my males is because I have 6 that are 6 months or older and are showing signs of breeding. I knew this before I invested in them, but was hoping to find them all good mates to pair up with in late spring to breed.
