I was looking at my baby american toads 2 days ago and i saw a little guy that HAD ONE EYE. i know that there have been a lot of deformitys in amphibians latly due to polution. but should i do anything for this little guy. he is eating. and the spot that should have an eye just looks like normal skin.is there any thing i should do different for him.

Keep him. love him and help him live a hoppy healthy life. If anything I would just make sure that he has his own enclosure so that he won't have to compete with anyone else for food.

I agree. Remember also that Nature isn't always perfect either. I'm sure this little toad will do fine in your care and no doubt will have a unique personality all of his own.

Did you see the picture I posted long ago on the amphib gallery? (I think it still should be there) I found a one eyed toad outside and he looked to me to be quite healthy and happy, though probably at a large disadvantage. (I took a couple pics of him and put it in the gallery) He had to have been at least a year old because he was calling for a mate when I found him. His missing eye seemed to be from some sort of injury instead of being born that way.
For your lil' guy, I'd say as long as he's got one eye he should be fine and probably wouldn't need any special needs - other than placing his food where he can see it with his one eye!
