Just got Princess home from the vet

grama_to_dragon Dec 13, 2004 05:29 PM

The vet thinks "she" may have an infection, so he put her on antibiotics. 1cc once a day for a week. Hopefully this will help. She's eating well and her stools have hardened considerably since Saturday, but she still looks a little dehydrated. The vet said she looked ok to him.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?

I've heard people say that when their bearded was dehydrated they put the bearded on baby food (turkey) and a mix of either pedalyte or gatorade. I don't know if that's the best but that is what others have told me.

If she is eating well then you could give her until the meds run out to see if she's improving with looking more hydrated.

I hope everything goes well!
