The Blue female (?) I'm getting tomorrow is 6 months old and already at 2ft give or take some, I'll know when she gets here. They are smaller then columbians so I'd think yours would be much bigger by then!

Blues are not smaller than columbians .My female blus is 3'4" and 6 lbs. I have seen adult male blues , and they are also bigger. Kofaseatl has a blue male thats 4'2" long.take care Russ

Unless you are talking snout to vent length, I have to agree the others. That is pretty small.

That is very small, but some tegus have been known, to me at least, to hit their growth spurt late. At this age he should be fed every day, with a good reptile calcium and D3 supplement, unless he lives outdoors, then just calcium. I would not recommend ham either, but fed as a snack may not be bad, its just generally pretty salty. Cage length and temps would be helpful. My tegu is an exception, he has been badly dwarfed and is almost 3 but only 21" snout to tail, extremely small. He is just now starting to grow again, which from what Ive heard and read, is not supposed to happen, but you never know because every reptile is different. Would you post a picture? I havent seen many Columbians on this forum, not the most popular tegu I guess! I'll admit I would love an Arg though...
