I am new to breeding rats, and was wondering how you sex them? I can't tell them apart. I think I have a male, then I lift him up and everything disapears. Any help will be great, thanks.

Yeah when you pick them up by the tail their testicles disapear. What I usually do is put them across the edge of the cage and gently push down and they will pop back out again.
