i really have no idea...im not sure i have ever heard of anyone using that or if there are any chemicals in it etc.. if you like a lighter color you could use wheat bran perhaps? its what i use, its safe, and the dragons love it. besides that it looks very nice...

shes just a baby, certianly beautiful as is, but maybe in time she could have color, ya just never know

Don't know about the chemicals in this either.. but if you goto a tree or plant nursery, a lot of times during the summer they have bags of Washed Childrens Play Sand that is white... not the ugly dark tan color you get from Home Depot/Lowes... maybe you could check that out and see if you like that?
