i keep on getting asked the same question from many different people "what are you going to do with your snakes when there 20 feet long?" my own responce to this is "Keep them happy and make shore i don't piss them off" what do you guys say when you get this question asked i know you all get it from people when you tell them you have condas?

I dont have a conda but I have a burm and a retic, I say different things. One thing I say when I am kidding around if someone starts to get a stupid when they are saying it, you know how they get, and that is make money and let kids ride it around the neighborhood. Remember that is a joke. But for people who are concerned and really want to know, I liked your reponse keep it fed and not make it mad. Or I just look at them and say keep it, short and sweet. But then I have been asked the questions what if you have kids, are you keeping it. I say ya right now I feel I will, but things could change. How do you respond to the kid question?

You can say you'll keep them under lock and key and very securely enclosed. (the snakes, not the kids LOL) You can also say that you'll vigilantly supervise any interaction.
That's how I'll answer that question, when it actually comes up.

i do get the kid question all the time and i my herps are my kids. i would never give them up becouse im getting a human in. my kids would be bad ass though with me as a father keeping condas, retics and other herps there friends be over everyday.

You gonna register your snakes when the new law goes into effect Jan 1st? It's gonna run about $80 an animal. They haven't said what fees will be. You have 60 days after the law goes into effect to register. Plus your breeding project will be grounded as well. Better hurry and move to FL. Anyway, cool pics of Annie. Had Nefi out today, she's doing good. I'm not though. Think I may have an RI. No one has really ever asked me about what am I going to do when Nefi gets big. They do ask how big she'll get. And no you still can't have her

come on steve u no u want to give her to me. anyways thats new york that has them crazy laws i live in jersey but we do have a conda law going in to affect this jan but i called up and got permits for everything so im in the clear.

Cool, glad ya got them. What was that at the bottom where you said "you go to the vet about your RI?" If that was for me, Nefi doesn't have an RI. I may have one tho been feeling like crap and chest congestion.
