I never see my baby veiled drinking, I mist 3 times a day but I hear you have to mist for 5 minutes? I just a spray bottle and mist ALL of the leaves until they are dripping wet and I have a drip system on about 3 hours of the day. I never see him dripping but then again she usally hides when I approach so likely he is drinkngi when I am not around. Still is there any immediate signs I should be looking for signs of dehydration aside from sunken eyes? And also I cant get her to eat from my hand. I set her down and I extend my hand about 10 inches away with a cricket wiggling in my two fingers and he seems to scared to approach. Any tips?

Don't worry if you don't see it drink everyday. If you py attention when you spray the cham directly you should see it swallow. If you are trying to handfeed it takes while for the cham to trust you. plus for a 3 month old cham it will never even get near 10" away. there tongue is there body length so try 3-4" away. after awhile when your cham gets used to it it might greet you when you come to the cgae instead of hide. But all chams are different

He does this thing, I never see him actually licking the leaves, but shortly after I spray around him I see him like stick out his tongue a little as if he is licking the upper surface of his mouth. Is this him "gulping water" or "swallowing"?

if you see like a bulge in his throat after you spray that is him swallowing
