At one year old a healthy baby iguana shall have around 60cm ( 2 feet). At 2, he should have around 3 feet.At 3, 4 years old he shall have 4 feet.It depends on the gender too.A male grows bigger than a female.
It also depends on where/how you house them and what you feed them.
Here's a good growth chart: http://www.anapsid.org/iguana/agesize.html
Igs that are fed animal protein and beans grow faster, but they don't live as long. My vet thinks that the old size charts are going to change now that iggies are on better diets. She thinks they'll grow more slowly than they used to, and possibly live longer.
Igs that are kept in enclosures that are too small for them will not stop growing, but they will grow much slowly. This isn't healthy for them, though (obviously).
And, of course, without enough calcium (and UVB/D3), growth will be stunted, too.
But according to MK's age/size chart, an ig should reach 3 ft at about 3 years, and 4 ft at about 4 years. I think the chart is for males, so females are naturally smaller.

1.0.0 green iguanas
0.1.0 cockatiels
1.0.0 senegal parrots
0.1.0 blue-fronted amazons
0.0.1 red belly piranha
Although i dont give animal protein to my igs they grew up a lot, much more than MK's growth chart, probably because i used to keep them outdoors the whole year what helps their growth too.
My TREX now is not yet 5 years and he is more than 5 feet.He is 5 feet 3.

I think my iggy was around 4 ft around age 2 1/2. I used to have a book that kept track of that kind of thing, but who knows where it went to. I think there is a slight difference between sexes too, like growth rate wise. My cousin had a female iguana that was older than my male but much smaller. And I've also seen some iguanas that seem to grow width wise faster than they grow length. And there is the breed issue too.
The picture says it all.

i have a male and female green iguana that are about 18 mos old. the female is 36 inches and the male is 42 inches. they live on a fresh veggie diet and have always lived indoors. they are very tame but i keep their nails trim. they appear to be very active sexually. i once had one that grew much slower and then one of the bigger ones that had grown a lot bit it. the bite injured it quite badly and it eventually died. i didn't do anyhting differently with the little one than i did with the ones that grew quickly. i think they were even from the same clutch.
