Yes.Your poodle can chew your ig and your ig if he is big can hit your poodle with the tail.Not a good combination.
Luckily, my cocker spaniel and 3 cats know better than to mess with my iguana. It helps that they all grew up together, my iguana being the first in the house, but I would be more worried about tail lashings depending on your iguana's size. My iguana is quite larger than my 3 year old kitten, and once swung his tail at her for going near his food dish. Iguanas have enough strength in their tails to break another animals' legs, so be careful. My ig has yet to bite anyone though.
