Size for breeding?.....

Luke9815 Dec 13, 2004 10:22 PM

I was wondering what size is a good size to breed my anacondas....I never really meant to keep them...but too much CRAP has come up...so I think I'm just going to keep them now...and don't want breed them too small....so what's a good size?

Typically, I would never attempt to breed a female green that was not at least in the 10 to 12 feet range and at least 4 or 5 years of age with good body weight. Females in the wild have successfully reproduced at a slightly smaller size, but it is not common. Additionally, these smaller females were probably older than their size would indicate.
