Big Eater Question

I have two Leos and the one is growing very rapidly alot quicker then the other and he eats ALOT i`ll buy 15 crickets and he`ll sometimes eat about 12 or 13 of them and the other gecko eats like 3 or 4 but he does eat what do you think is the deal with these two??? PLZ LET ME KNOW

SORRY also do you think that growing fast bc its still very young could mean its a Male???

It has nothing to do with it being male or female. It's more likely an intimidation issue. Are you housing them together?

i do not think sex is an issue at all in regards to the amounts that are being eaten. my two are both females and both would easily devour 20 meal worms each up till they were about 6 months old, then they started to slow down.

back in march when i bought my two juvies the same thing occured. one was dominate and ate like a horse, and the other didnt eat some much usually. since i put them both in thier own 20gallon long tanks, they both eat like horses man. and the smaller one is catching up in size. although they are both a little down right now, slower, because of the winter season.
