I just got this BP from someone who didn't take the best care. A large rat was left in the cage with it for 5 days before I took it off his hands. Ate for me the day I got it(mouse). I am digging how docile he/she is.

Aww, she wants a sip. Reminds me of the first ball I had years ago.

Congrats on rescuing this nice animal from the uncaring/inept former owner. I hope s/he does well for you.

Yeah...My lady really likes it. I have about a dozen various Boas in my collection. This is my first ever BP. It is super mellow(i think most BP's are). The guy I got her from was keeping a x-tra large live rat with it and needless to say I was alarmed. I took the rat out and put him in the freezer. Waited an hour or 2 and fed the BP a mouse, took it without hesitation.

Unfortunately it has alot of scars running down it's back. It is captive bred but I was told from the previous owner that a sharp branch had initiated the scars.

I was thinking of finding it a home(no real interest in BP's), but I think I will keep it. Who knows maybe this will the first of many BP's, afterall they don't take up too much space.

uh oh...famous last words! ONE does not take up much space When ya get over a dozen, then the furniture needs rearranging!

Yeah...I started collecting again 5 months ago. I cleared out the guest bedroom. It is now dedicated to Boas only. Then I have snakes scattered throughout the house. Not to mention mice and rats in the garage(and some favorites inside).

The lady has been great so far. Her family is starting to think I am Wacko. Kind of funny.....keeps all the in-laws from coming over!!!!!
