I live in southern cali so i don;t know the price differences but I got a STEAL when I got my panther for 100 bux. Thats right 100 bux. My advice(knowing very little about chams as i am a novice cham keeper) is to buy a baby(not less that 3 months old but BEFORE the adult color starts to show. Once that happens, the price increase quite quickly.

A truly wise man will always be humbled.
I have been to this show and i havent seen a panther there yet but it could all change. Last time i was there, one lady had a bunch of veilds and they were not treated very well at all i would have love to get one of them to give it a good home they were $35 each and there was an adult Mellers for $125 if you see one to you like i suggest buy it because they arent treated the greatest and you could give it a good home.I am planning on going up there to get a sulcata tortoise. Sorry if i wasnt much help. Ryan
There is a good panther dealer who has some of the most phenominal animals I have ever seen, but he isn't always there. Sorry I forget his name. But if you go there is a chance he will be there. And as for the mellers, that is where I bought mine. They didnt seem to be mistreated to me. I took my mellers to the vet and he is in perfect condition, no parasites or illness. But at the last show (In cleveland) There were just some baby veileds, one adult female veiled (which I bought) and two adult "captive" Mellers. I talked to the mellers guy for a good 20-30 minutes and asked him alot of questions. The animals looked in great shape, jsut coming out of sheds, heavy, and no real physical defects. So I decided to be what he told me was a male. He said he will have females at the next show for me. But anyway, there are some panther breeders at the ohio show, show they are not always there. It might take you several trips to the shows to find some good panthers. Hope this helped.
I've only been there like3 or 4 times, so i've never seen panthers...hopefully they'll have some this time. I usually don't get there until like 1 or 2, but i'm gonna try to get there at about 10 in the morning this month to improve my chances of seeing one. There really aren't all that many chameleons there....it's like 90 percent snakes usually. Maybe things have changed in the last 4 or 5 months though....thanks for all your guys' responses, anything helps.
