green tree frog poop

cancelv Jul 02, 2003 04:33 PM

This could be the stupidest question ever posted, but I'm going to post it anyway.
I recieved a Green Tree Frog for my birthday and he has quite the appetite. He seems very healthy and I feed him crickets. The only problem is, I have had him for a week and a half and I don't see any poop anywhere. Should I be worried?

What kind of substrate do you have him on? Sometimes their little poo can be hard to see if you are using dirt, bed a beast, jungle mix....or any other brownish earthy toned substrates. You could try replacing his bedding with white paper towels free of ink. This way you can see his poo more easily. Also, is he eating? How does he look? Is he soaking in his water dish?

Thanks a lot for the response. He is pooping now though. He keeps going in his water dish, so I am quite relieved. However thank you very much for your help.
