Eastern Diamond Back Rattler Snake and Side winder questions......

Anyone know of any reputable eastern diamond back rattle snake breeders? I live in Georgia here we can own native hots with no permit. also anyone know of any reputable side winder breeders? I have considered owning them some day down the road. whats a good rattle snake to start out with?

Sidewinders make o.k. captives, if you can get them to feed regularly (but not too often). They are certainly not "less dangerous" they just inject smaller amounts of venom (they actually have very long fangs for spp.) My first "hot" snake was an eastern diamondback that I caught when I was 10 years, that was almost 30 years ago, old and if I knew then what I know now I would have left the snake lying on the path where I found it in the Everglades.

Along time ago I caught a baby eastern diamond back rattle snake on some land that my family owned it had a lake .I will never forget that experience of seeing a eastern diamond back rattle snake in the wild for the first time.
