Heat pad questions

Hi.Ive kept reptiles for a long time but Ive always used heat rocks.well I finally bought a heat pad this weekend at a petsmart.on the package it says I must stick it to the bottom of the aqaurium.It does not say if it will come off or not though.will it.If it wont is there a way to make it come off so I could use it on another cage or will I have to buy a new one every time.thanks to all who read and reply.

You can stick it to aluminum foil. Good thing not buying another heat rock - they aren't very safe. You may need a thermostat with the heat pad, make sure to measure the temps no matter what the manufacturer's claim the temps to be.

You can jusr leave the paper/adhesive backing on the pad and attach with a few strips of aluminum foil tape. Place the adhesive side up.-Bill
