Well the good news is that Buddy came out this morning 
I saw his tail this morning so I knew that he was alive. My husband put the heat lamp over his tail area and I guess Buddy liked the warmth because he came out soon after that and now is basking. I am happy that he is OK
Thanks to everyone who gave me support and didn't say anything that worried me.

yay! i am glad that he came out. they really do have mood swings and temperature swings. hugo was hiding alot this last week but i knew everything was ok as soon as i stuck my hand in his cage and he climbed up on it and exited the cage by climbing my arm and then up to my head. he is such a little booger
