The Professor, my new little guy

gurnham4 Dec 14, 2004 12:38 PM

Picked this guy up at the NOVA show on saturday. he (I was told it was a he, the seller sexed him infront of me) is a very chill little gecko, LOVES being held. He eats right from my hands. I think he will be a nice breeder to bubbles and Buttercup when they all become of age (if you haven't catched it, i have a Powerpuff Girls theme going with the name of my geckos.) What do you guys think he'll look like when he is older.

He is only 6 weeks old so he might be too young to tell.

1) Bigger Pictures! I can't really tell from the pics. I don't know if it's cause the pics are too small or if there's nothing there to see. 6 weeks is too young to get an indication, much less tell anything for sure.

Leopard Gecko Care Sheet

Unfortunantly I didn't get to the show, but I am glad you found a nice leo! I am not sure how the breeder sexed him right in front of you. 6 weeks is indeed too young to tell, you will probably be able to hit the confirm on that when your little leo is 4-6 months old. Most breeders can pre-determind what sex the leopard gecko will be by incubation temps, but that's pretty much the only way.
Looks like he might be a high yellow gecko, or maybe some reduced spotting. Hope all goes well with him!
