Hi, On Saturday, my mom's friend , who is an Animal Rescue Constible in the town next to mine, called and said someone had abandoned a large green iguana, no heat, no food, no lighting..Luckily, I went to pick him up and he doesn't have MBD, he's growing very good, missing a few toes and claws..But he has these abscesses on his face, 2 of them about the size of a pencil eraser, right below his right eye, I'm wondering if these are from rubbing against the cage because they had him in a 3 story Ferret cage(Wire) or could it be from something else..He was dehydrated and wouldn't move for the first night, we gave him a bath, and now he's eating really good and moving around, very friendly guy after what he's been though. We have another Iggy who is only about 2 feet long, just a baby, they are separated of course, I just wanted to know what is on his face and what can be done about it, it's the only thing I can see that needs to be worried about, I've been dipping the ripped off claws in betadine and they are looking better, not infected or anything, so if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated
