My friends Jungle carpet python keeps soaking even after sheding. HE says that the snakes skin is very dry and it keeps goin in the water. I asked him about humidity but he said it was fine. Any thoughts?

i have heard some snakes will use their water bowls as a hide if they have nothing else in the tank. or could have mites. do you see little tiny bugs?? those are mites. also temps to high.
just a couple of ideas...

If it has mites you should be able to see them in the water.
It could also just want to soak. Make sure it has a hide like the previous poster said
