Little White bugs Everywhere!! Mites? Someone please help!!!

batmat Dec 14, 2004 06:11 PM

For some time now, my white's tree frog's had these little little white bugs crawling around it's tank...i've cleaned it numerous times, even and started fresh with an all new tank, and environment. Tought I'd be good, but then they came back so I sanitized and bleached everything to try and get kill these things, but they keep showing up and when I look in it seems worse everytime. I've gone to some pet stores and saw some mite-killer, but it said to not use on frogs or any amphibians...My frog seems healthy and is very active, which I'm assuming is good, but I want to get rid of these things before it really starts affecting her. Any advice would be greatly greatly appreciated!!!

I used to get these in my tank when I had spagnum moss on the bottom. Im not sure what they are but they never hurt anything. The frogs mite even eat them.
