Eastern King X Rattlesnake Hybrid...

Keith Hillson Dec 14, 2004 07:58 PM

Just kidding ! This little 2004 Columbia Co., Florida Eastern Kingsnake is a little spitfire though. She is okay in hand but on the loose she is something else. She is quite beautiful and Im glad Zee was able to get his pair going this year to produce these.

That's a STUNNING girl ya got there! I love those solid white bands, that's what a good classic Eastern is all about in my opinion. How many snakes do you have Keith? How many are Easterns?

I think I'm keeping it small, though my wife disagrees. I usually point to Peter (SweetPickle) and say that my collection is small compared to him, but she's not buying it.

The Maryland pair is hibernating, I can't wait to breed that pair. Thanks for the photos, keep 'em coming,

Yes, I love that crisp white. By the way, I believe she was the only one that displayed such strong white bands at an early age.
Looking good, Keith. She'll be a stunner when she gets older!
I will post some pics of the other babies in a few days. They're also doing great and eating like pigs!

Yeah I havent seen them all but I think she is one of the better looking ones for sure. I like her nice thick crossbars not to mention her and the male eat like pigs ! He is much calmer than she is I should note and both are really starting to speckle up with the male more so.

Maybe one day they'll look like their mother! That'll be cool!

Excellent group of Easterns you have. That's a heck of a collection.
I also see where you have a picture of an adult female, Wayne co. NC. eastern king, on your website. That adult female you have pictured, from Rick Sladick, is the mother of my 04 female. I thought that was pretty neat. Excellent looking girl if I say so myself.
