On average, on big are the ones you find?

Do you ever find any light gray ones?

from meade county KY. It is one of the lighter ones I have came across and fairly decent sized. Probably close to 18".

We find them all the time while out in the field. We found 17 under one piece of cover last spring!!! That was a cool find, and I know we missed a few, but 17 is the number we actually had in hands!!! They are pretty variable when it comes to coloration too. Any where from black to slate gray and belly side from yellow to red, with and without spots!! And smelly musk, gotta be the worst smelling musk ever!!! LOL

Michael
No this was not directed at anyone. I just didnt want people to think I go out and collect massive amounts of snakes. I had said that we had these snakes in hand, and I only meant that these were the ones we had picked up and could account for, thats all.

Ok, I sent you a Private Message, so I assumed you got it and just felt like replying in here instead of emailing me back.
