I was wondering what Kind of turtles they are. If they are red ears or not? they don't look like the red ears ive seen. Any help would be great.

I bought them along time ago. just wondering

yes, i got one at a south carolina location on the coast. it was a RES, not a healthy one though. we had to nurse it through to health. the owner of the store i bought from obviously did not care for the well being of his animals.

They are RES's. Wings suck and so do the rest of the garbage tourist places that sell them. Many of those places just go and steal whole cluthes of them and dump them in aquariums. If they don't sell by the end of the season then they dump them back into the golf courses. My brother broke down and bought four of them last year because there were like 80 of them in a 20 tank and kids were buying them and keeping them in plastic cups. They now live in a 150 gallon. three of them that is, because one of them was so ill that it drown from a URI before I could get it home from carolina.

The remaining three are really healthy now.

Yeah they were in a 10 gal tank like 100 of them. I felt bad a bought 2 of them. Boy they sure got big fast geez.

yeah i know what you mean Pacific sells red eared sliders which are so cute and stuff they GAVE me a cage that hermet crab lives in you know them carrying cages and fish food!!! watch they cant even eat taht cuz they are sooo small but it was so funny and cute watchin murtle(my turtle) try to eat it so then we had to go get her some hatchling food but i didnt know this at the time cuz i was uninformed about turtles but now i know alot and she lives in a 10 gal tank for now till she gets older and get zoo med hatchling food i bought a light from the pet store and gravel and now its half water and basking area and when i got her she wouldnt eat now its so cute watchin her chase her food and they said they like meat goldfish when they are lil and then when they get older they like veggies (thats what i read) and did you know you can identify ur turtles by the spots on there bellies thats really neat..

they also had like 100 in one 10 gal. tank it was so sad atfirst i thought it was just for looks till i asked this guy and he said he sells them and i wanted one!
