Rack heating? Flexwatt or plumbing heat tapes, Easy Heat, Wrap-On etc?

vamp Dec 15, 2004 09:39 PM

I will be building a series of racks in the next month or so. Of the items listed in the topic, which would be best suited? I plan on using the rack plans on the finegtps.com site or arbreptiles.com rack plans. They both use different heating methods, finegtps uses Easy Heat tape, arbreptiles uses Flexwatt. The Easy Heat tape looks to be the most simple way to go. This will be my first rack building venture, so I would appreciate any input. The racks are for Agkistrodon Contortrix.
Many thanks in advance.

Mike

First off that is an awsome snake.. I would go with flexwatt, using rope makes for more work as far as materials...
