how long before geckos shed do they stop eating? just wondering my gecko still hasnt eaten and im worried cause thats what happened to my last gecko. im pretty sure all the husbandry issues are good he has a humid hide a regular hide it gets above 80 to 85 during the day on the hot side and down to about 70 at night. and on the cold side its usually just under or above 80 during the day and the same as the warm side at night.

i my self have never seen a leo stop eating befor a shed. all of mine have eaten befor, during and after all sheds. the only time i ever see them turn down a meal is during breeding season.
