This is three or four of the new kids. Their interaction is complete comedy. They've got around nine distinct hiding spots, but they still seem to cluster. No territorial issues, but they do seem to startle each other a bit when joining a nap session. One of them LOVES to walk around hissing and the others squeak when startled.

Slate tiles from home depot 
Whack them with a hammer and you get all kinds of nice shapes and they're fairly inexpensive. The animals seem to love it. Never been much for plastic, myself.
They sure are cute, every last one. Love their faces, very innocent looking!
Wish you the best, real nice family you have there. Great home too! I also use slate, love it. Cleans well also.
