If you've only seen older animals then they should be more black then mine. They start off black with heavy banding around the nose, white stomach with bands, and a very faintly banded tail. The back is predominatly black with small specs, down over the legs as well.
With age they lose the specs and become more black. However true togians will keep some banding on the nose, and the belly pattern.
Komaini is the one that becomes solid black.
The banding on the nose of togian is the easiest way to tell them apart from Komaini.
Are the top 2 pics the same water I gave Raul? If so do you have any recent pics? I'd like to see how he/she is comming along!
