I'm naming her Leucy b/c the lovely people @ petco told me "she's a leucistic, that's what they call her" when I inquired about morph. (jus' 4 kicks!) the red eyes are kinda freaky, but really cool!

My mate bought me an Albino from PetCO. The person told her that it was a Leucistic. But, one look at her and I knew exactly what she was. An Albino. I asked to see if everyone here agreed a while ago. And also, they told my mate that she was a 'he' when purchased.

I'm led to believe that if someone is going to work the herp area, they should at least know how to sex a lizard. It isn't that hard in most cases. Especially Leos.

Oh. And she looks pretty much just like yours. Only, the head has less spotting.

Nice leo!

But, she isn't a leucistic; she's a tremper albino. Leusistics are also called patternless. They have no trace of pattern as adults. I can clearly see the markings on yours, and as you said she's got red eyes.

Um, my tremper (I think he's a tremper, that seems to be the consensus) has lighter than normal eyes, but ABSOLUTELY NOT red. not even a trace. He is much darker. My vet says this girl is a patternless albino. If a PA is what one of you claimed it was, isn't that a blizzard? HELP?!

You really are confused. Ok, your vet is wrong. Sorry, but there are so many different morphs that it's hard for anyone to tell unless they're a breeder. That is definitely albino, not leuistic, not PA. All albinos have red to pinkish eyes. Your "Tremper" probably isn't a Tremper if he has dark eyes. He could have an albino parent, making him het for Tremper, but dark eyes do not equal albino. Patternless Albinos (PA)have red eyes and no spots or bands on their body. Leuistsic and patternless are the same thing, and have dark eyes meaning they're not albino. Blizzards are not albinos, and they also have no patterns. Post pics of all your Leos and we will tell you the correct morphs of all of them!!!

I do have 10 of them. Most I'm sure are normal/high yellow. I think I got that much right! I hope. Anyway, these two are really the only other ones I question. I can't post them all here b/c I don't think I have enough free memory left in photot gallery. Are you on any other forums? I just posted these 2 on fauna
