Clown projects?

TraceH Dec 16, 2004 02:58 AM

I am getting a pair of het clowns from Mr. Thorpe here within the next few weeks and I was just wondering what other people are doing with this morph? Any one have any ideas on what would make a killer clown combo? Just playing around with possibilities.

I think the clown is possibly the most underrated recessive morph out there. Within the next few years, some amazing combos are going to be available, which are going to make people see how valuable that morph actually is. I have plans to start the following projecs: Orange Hypo Clown, Pastel Clown, and Albino Clown. I know some double hets of these have already been produced, but I've seen very few available. I think the Sutherlands had a male pastel het clown available recently. Besides crossing the clown into other color morphs, there's also the possibility of crossing them into other patterns such as spider, pinstripe, genetic stripe, piebald, etc. etc. Who knows what will happen then. At any rate, the future for the clown morph is extremely bright. They are probably one of the best recessive morphs to get into since there really aren't many around compared to most other morphs.
