Cherry head redfoot owner

luckdragon Dec 16, 2004 06:30 PM

Hi everyone, I am the proud owner of a CH RF and although I know a bit about basic husbandry, I am having a hard time finding specifics to Cherryheads - can what you find about just Redfoots apply to these little guys as well? Anyone breed them? I'd love to find more. From what I've read, mine had a calcium deficiency as he has definite telescoping on his shell. I'd love to chat with other CH fanciers.

The husbandry requirement for cherryheads are the same as redfoots. CB cherryheads are not too readily available, most that are for sale are either WC or so called CB imports. Abbotts Turtle Farm in Florida breeds them and they are very reputable. I have both cherryheads & redfoots, e-mail me and let me know if you want to know any specifics.
