Just got my first Dumerils Boa today... at one year old is 25 inches normal?

Just curious if 25 inches is about average for a 1 year old Dumerils? Also are there different phases of Dumerils? She looks like a normal Dumerils, but she has pretty extensive salmon pink through her. Could this possibly be a different phase? Sorry for the questions... I have never had a Dumerils and there isn't much info about them on the net. I have raised Ball Pythons and Boa Contrictor Imperator from babies. Any answers to my questions would be greatly appreciated. I will try to get some pictures of her to post tomorrow.

Most Dumerils are born in the summer months. But i'm sure they are born in anytime of the year. The reason I say that, you say yours is a year old if it is a 03 it probably is 18 months or so. If it was born in 04 it probably is 6 months or so. A boas growth rate is related to its feeding. Unless you have knowledge of its feeding schedule then its hard to say if its had a normal growth.
I'm sure your Dumerils is fine and would not worry about its size.
I'm glad you are going to post a pic. I also like high pink Dums.
Some breeders have worked trying to produce Dumerils with alot of pink. And others are working to produce lighter Dums. There are some hypos and i have seen a picture of a albino Dumerils.
Anyway congrats on your new boa and good luck with it.

25 inches sounds a little small for a one year old. Here is a pic of a dumerils with some pink.
