Here is somethign to add to a discussion from below.

This is a pair of doreanus that are obviously not of the "same type". In the first picture, the male has his head on the females back. They are not under any basking lights of any type. This cage was also large enough for them to not have to "be on top of each other". They were often together and this behavior was not unsualy for them. Keep in mind they were wild caught adults when introduced. They never fought and never showed any agression toward each other. Notice the male watching me, he was very aware of my actions.
This second picture is after I opened the window to get a better shot. The male took an agressive posture toward me as the female retreated slightly. This was odd for both of them as the female was generally very agressive...not mean, what I call fun. The male was generally fairly passive.
To some this doesnt mean anything because they are not "real Monitors", others may find it interesting...just one of 2,000,000,000 million observations I had on this pair. Guess that makes me an expert. Funny how they did not act different than any other monitor I had, despite what I was told. Of course, they must have been wrong. I also did not set them up any differently than my other monitors...guess I should have set them up as indo's my bad.
