feeding mealworms: make sure very little feed gets in bowl?

britbiker Dec 16, 2004 07:54 PM

I find it a little time consuming to dig out minimeal and mealworms out of their container to minimize the amount of their food that gets into the dragon's bowl. You know, the brown meal type stuff they live in (and presumably eat). Does the food stuff hurt beardies, or do they just eat around it?

I accidentally dropped a container of mealworms in to the tank while I was feeding my beardie once, she just picked out the worms, and never touched the stuff they live in. I'm not sure if it would be harmful if a beardie were to eat the stuff though...
