lighting question

skater2337 Dec 16, 2004 08:39 PM

if you read my post below im making a large cage with a big divider thing in the middle to be used for 2 chams. i have i 2 foot light fixture with 3 fixtures in it. if i set it right in the middle of the cage half the reptisun would be over one cage and half over the other, and the 2 other fixtures would have the basking bulbs and lay fine over the cages. will this be enough uva/b? or do i need to buy something bigger? thanks.

I believe you are meaning a 2' fixture with 3 bulbs in it.. in most UVB bulbs, the rays only extend about 10" from bulb, so you can judge distances from that.
