White Dot On My BP's head?

catnipcutie Dec 16, 2004 09:50 PM

Hi everyone. First off I really aprpeciate everyone's help on this board with everything. But now I have a new question.

My new BP has a white dot on her head. it's right on the center of her head. It wasn't there yesterday when I fed her or ever before since I got her. But tonight I noticed it. Any idea what this could be?

Thanks.

Without a pic no one will be able to answer this for sure.

Just guessing...possibly a dried scale...it happens...when was the last time it shed? Does the "white spot" have an iridescence to it? Is it comprised of entire scales or parts of scales? If it is an entire scale and appears semi-transparent or iridescent it is most likely a dried scale or two and should be sloughed off during the next shed.

Posting a pic would get you a more definite answer.
