I recently acquired my first Tropidophis Haetianus. I am always rotating my collection due to lack of room to really expand it and was actually worried the Haitian Dwarf Boa would not be a good addition. All the pictures I had seen of them made them look much like a small viper boa with a less distinct head. On the contrary, this snake is awesome. It has a predominant and stunning copper body which almost looks exactly like a penny down to the metallic iridescences. This is accented with yellows and reds. My tropidophis has already fed on a scented pinky busting the old myth that they are devout lizard mongers. For anyone with 10 gallon E.T.S. (empty tank syndrome), consider the Tropidophis Haetianus, my surprise snake pick of the month. I will post pictures as soon as I get a new digital camera.
